Peppertree Homeowners’ Association
Annual Report For 2009
The annual meeting for the Peppertree Homeowners Association was
held October 29, 2009 at the Elks Lodge on 11th Ave. Roy Laudenslager chaired the meeting as
acting association president and presented Josie Etling's letter of resignation
as the association president.
General State of the Association
The year 2009 was a fairly typical year for the Peppertree Homeowners Association.
Maintenance of the berm along 18th Ave. continues to be the most important responsibility
of the association. The berm maintenance provided by Colima Yard Maintenance,
the company doing the berm maintenance in 2009, has done a good job and we have
retained them for the year 2010. The trees growing on the berm were checked for health
and pruned as required in 2009.
The mix of owner occupied to rental properties increased slightly in 2009 with 65 owner
occupied and 50 rentals.
Things to be addressed in 2010:
Tree pruning and general maintenance of the berm.
Improve the landscaping of the center island at the entrance.
Check options and cost of improving the appearance of the entrance.
Encourage general improvement to the overall appearance of Peppertree.
